A good friend shared with me an interesting site that streamed live TV for GMA 7 and ABS-CBN 2: Hayag - see it live (http://www.hayag.com/). Amazingly enough, the said site can be viewed for free. I just joined and signed up for an account, and that's it. Though, it's not required to sign-up to view the stream in Windows Media Player, registering gives you access to other live channels and videos uploaded and shared by other members.
Viewing this site requires that you have an active broadband or DSL connection and a version 10 or 11 of Windows Media Player.
If clicking on the following links http://www.hayag.com/pl/mytvko.asx (for GMA 7) or http://www.hayag.com/pl/ricyclops.asx (for ABS-CBN 2) doesn't open the stream, you may opt to do the following instead:

- Click on OK
The stream had approximately about 30 to 40 seconds of delay versus the live cable channel and 20 to 25 seconds versus non-cable.
Am watching Doraemon as of this writing. Oh, how I missed that robotic cat. Happy viewing!
